Day One Welcome to Namibia! On arrival at Windhoek International Airport, we have a meet and greet with our tour consultant to learn more about our upcoming adventure before boarding our flight into the Namib Desert. Day Two A very early start this morning as we head into the heart of the Namib Desert to explore Sossusvlei. We leave camp before sunrise to be one of the first vehicles to enter the park when the gates open. The drive from Sesriem to the heart of the dunes is approx. 60 kms, and this drive alone offers some incredible opportunities for photography. On arrival in the 4x4 car park, begin to explore this area on foot, with a walk around Dead Vlei and Sossusvlei, and for the adventurous, a hike up Big Daddy, the tallest dune in the region, offering breathtaking views of the sand sea that is the Namib Desert. By midday, make your way back towards Sesriem with a stop at Sesriem Canyon, a small but important landmark for both the human and animal residents of the area. This afternoon we have some time to relax, enjoy a delicious lunch and and then head through to the nearby Sesriem Canyon to learn more about this unique landmark in the Namib. Day Four A leisurely morning today to enjoy a lie in and relaxed breakfast before we take to the skies. Our next destination is Swakopmund, on the Skeleton Coast, where we will spend the next two nights. Our flight is certainly a scenic one as we cross the dunes and gravel plains before arriving at the coast just before lunchtime. Checking in to Brigadoon Boutique Guesthouse, located in the heart of Swakopmund, we then have the full afternoon to explore either on foot, or with one of the many optional activities from quad-biking to fat bike tours either of the township, city or dune field. Swakopmund is the adventure capital of Namibia and there is certainly something to satisfy everyone. The town itself, an unusual mix of German and Namibian culture offers a relaxed and walkable town centre to enjoy at our own pace. There are good restaurants in both towns, with seafood of course being a specialty.

Swakopmund is on Namibia's spectacularly scenic coast, the seaside town of Swakopmund is known for its wide-open avenues, colonial architecture, and its surrounding otherworldly desert terrain. Founded in 1892 as the main harbour for German South-West Africa, Swakopmund is often described as being more German than Germany. Now a seaside resort town, Swakopmund is the capital of the Skeleton Coast tourism area and has plenty to keep visitors happy. The quirky mix of German and Namibian influences, adventure options, laid-back atmosphere and cool sea breeze make it a very popular Namibian destination. Visitors can look forward to a number of exciting activities including: quad biking, horse riding, paragliding, fishing, sightseeing and fascinating desert tours.

Day Five This morning, we head out for a full day adventure on the coast. Our day starts with a drive south to Walvis Bay where we starting with a transfer from the Walvis Bay Waterfront to Pelican Point Peninsula by fast catamarans while hoping to spot sea and bird life, including pelicans and seagulls. We then step directly onto the beach at Pelican Point Peninsula, and our guide will lead us to the kayak set-up, where we will be provided with our kayaking equipment. Setting off on the water in our kayak, we will be able to explore the nearby waters, looking forward to inquisitive seals popping up around us, even dolphins and whales may make an appearance! After our kayaking adventure, we make our way, either by 4x4 or beautiful beach walk, to the Mola Mola Beach Braai (barbeque) where we can soak in the stunning deserted beach setting, while enjoying an authentic Namibian culinary experience. Re-energized and restored, we then continue by 4x4 to the dunes of the Namib Sand Sea and Sandwich Harbour. We will experience an exhilarating ride with an experienced guide over the ancient sand dunes and next to the ocean! We return to Swakopmund early evening. All these activities are included. Basis- bed and breakfast
